Jacob and Hunter had a great time going on a 4 day road trip with their Dad to Seattle.  Jonathan taught at the EFY up there and took the boys along. They had fun on the ferry, swimming in shishoni Falls and visiting the sights in Seattle.

We hosted the 3rd annual Cirrlc of Fire on the 4th of July.  Uncle Don supplied an amazing fireworks show and the whole neighborhood came out to celebrate with us.  So Fun!
Happy Birthday Katy!  We now have an official teenager and what a great one she is. We celebrated her birthday hiking the Y, playing at Deer Creek and having a BBQ that night.  Love summer birthdays.

Moon reunion at Heber Valley Girl's camp was a huge success.  Good food, fun minute to win it games, great scenery, thrilling swing rides and our favorite people.  Doesn't get better than that!

yep, more Hawaii!

Our hike to diamond head was rough but we all made it up the steep switch backs and 179 stairs.
We saw an amazing dolphin pool at one of the hotels.  We had our own private show and up close view of 5 beautiful dolphins.
Total Bliss!  We couldn't get enough of those warm waves!
We all went bananas for the pineapple whips at the Dole plantation.  Gotta love pineapple!

More of Hawaii

We loved the beaches on the North Shore especially castle beach
One of  4 hikes we took. The kids did great even through the mud and waterfalls we reached were well worth the climb!
We spent Sunday at an amazing international BYU ward and met couples from around the globe then got to walk around the beautiful temple grounds.  Katy and Jonathan and I all did baptisms for the dead and had a beautiful experience.
Thanks to grandma and grandpa moon the kids all had snorkel gear and loved looking down under at all the amazing fish. We were especially proud of Katy for conquering her fish fears!

Hawaii part I: I  am finally able to journal about our amazing 10 days in Hawaii.  We left June 3rd about noon.  It was so fun to be at the airport with the kids.  They were so excited to fly. We had a great flight there.  The kids each had their own personal screen on the back of the seat in front of them and loved playing games and watching movies.  We arrived in a rainstorm but were just so happy to be there it didn't matter much.  We were greeted by Jonathan's parents at the airport.  It was so great to see them again after almost 10 months.  We drove to our condo on the north shore that Jon's parents had arranged for us.  It was nothing short of luxurious. It was about 3000 sqft. on two levels. Huge sliding doors led to a patio that overlooked the ocean.  There were 3 rooms and 4 bathrooms, a huge top of the line kitchen and big family room.  We felt like we had won the lottery.

Saturday bright and early we headed to the beach.  We couldn't wait to get in the ocean.  We got quite the looks from the locals as we hauled our stuff out of the van and onto Hulelah beach (the original home of the PCC luaus.) while rain threatened above and the wind blew.  It didn't stop us, well one of us. I sat huddled on the beach in my chair with my sweatshirt and played photograper while the other, oblivious of the rain, splashed and played.  Katy conquered her fears and hesitantly went out into the ocean only to be greeted by a crab. After the initial shock she braved the unseen fish and played in the ocean with the rest of them.  They had fun burring Jacob in the sand and crashing the waves.  The clouds parted and we were joined by Grandma and Granpa.  We had a great walk on the beach around to goat island and back.  After lunch we head down south to find a hike that G. Brinley had heard about by a golf course.  We finally found it and started on what we thought would be 30 min. adventure.  Three hours later we finally arrived back at the car.  We took several wrong turns but had finally found a beautiful waterfall that the kids swam in and even went down a natural water slide. They loved it.  The weather held out long enough to make it to one more beach to swim for a while longer and we got to drive by the house Jonathan lived in for the first 2 years of his life, very cool.  Alyssa was cold and we were hungry so we decided to head back north to our condo.  As we started to drive the rain started coming in sheets.  I have never driven in such hard rain.  As we passed each river they were pouring their dirty red mud into the ocean.  There was a flash flood warning for the very road we were on.  We just kept driving and made it home safe only to find out later the road was washed out not 10 minutes after our passing it and a car was actually carried into to the ocean.  Very thankful Alyssa was cold!!

She was queen of the waves.  She was the first in and last out everytime!
We loved the PCC.  The boys loved climbing coconut trees and we all loved visiting the different villages.
We just called them the inseperable fishes.  They couldn't get enough of the waves!
our favorite hamburger and fries joint, Ted's Bakery.  A must for anyone visiting the north shore
We loved visiting Pearl Harbor and being in such a historic place.
