Easter!

Happy Easter! We have had a great week with Jonathan being on spring break. He was able to take off Wed. and Friday and I loved having him home. He got tons done on our garden boxes and they look great. A few more weeks and we will be able to plant. Katy had Friday off school as well so went with us on a food storage shopping spree at Macey's with us in the morning then job shadowed her YW leader who is pre-school teacher. Shopping with three adults and three kids was much easier than doing it on my own. The little ones loved having Dad and Katy race them in the carts. Katy's play starts this weekend so she is busy with rehearsals. Sat. was an all day practice. We are all excited to see the show. Jacob and Hunter had their first soccer game yesterday and did awesome. They both scored a goal and their team won by about 7 goals. They ran their hearts out and we are excited about this upcoming season. The three little ones had some kind of fever virus the first of the week but thanks to all her siblings prayers Alyssa was able to attend her next door neighbor's birthday party with Emily. They went and saw HOP and loved every minute of it. The Easter Bunny visisted our home Sat. morning. He was creative this year and even hid one in the garbage can (lined with a clean liner).

We had a great time at the Children's Museum on Monday. It was a great kick-off for our spring break. We rode trax over to temple square and met Jonathan at the Church History children's museum. By the end of the day the kids were all discovered out. Janey had quite the conversation with her dad while fixing him a pretend dinner. The girls loved dancing in the spanish dresses.

Highlight of the week for the boys and Emily was going to the spring BYU football game. They got to throw balls, kick field goals, punch bags and get autographs from their favorite players. It snowed on them but they didn't seem to mind.
Katy's fun new is that she made 8th grade student body secretary of Academics for next year. She is thrilled to get to be involved another year and to be in office with her best friend Ivy.
Cannon was Daddy's little helper as we start to get our garden ready to plant. We have lots of big plans to finish our yard this year. We will see how far the money goes!

Emily got to sing the National anthem with the Lehi Children's Choir at the Utah FLASH game. She hi fived the players as their names were called and she loved being in all the lights and action.
